VEIL OF MIST

Veil of Mist

Rangi cries

Papatuanuku heaves

Then sighs

And as the veil lifts

Ra spews forth with great pride

Illuminating the once turbulent skies

The ancients whisper

They painted this picture

Carved in stone

Globally Roamed

Paving a road

To a place

No one knows

But if you’d just listen

You might find your way home

Try to remember

It is etched in your bones

Pulsing through your veins

Encoded in your souls

It’s the mountains

The Rivers

The Oceans

They are our homes
